Organic farming in the Ukraine

A public benefit foundation in Liechtenstein has for some years now been supporting the “Schiwa Semlya” (Living Earth) project in the Ukraine. This association farms 300 hectares using organic and biodynamic cultivation methods. The objective in the next few years is to build up a training centre for organic and biodynamic agriculture there, aimed at small farmers in the western Ukraine.

Following visits to the project, I was able to make suggestions to the foundation for further co-operation with the association, while at the same time working to optimise the business strategy together with the association’s board and the local management.
